Filming and Editing Blog

     So far my group and I have not yet started our project. We have already created the script and basically came up with the overall plot of the film. We have also figured out our location of our film and how we will run things to ensure a well-put together film and stay safe overall. This week we have not been able to start filming because we have all been very busy. Both of my partners have been staying at home to do E-learning because of Covid-19. However I have been going to school for the past two months. In addition, I play travel and school softball. I have practice every weekday for school softball and I have practice every other Saturday for my travel team. Occasionally I have softball games as well, making my schedule very tight between school and sports. One of my partners also has a job and is not able to film on certain days as well. All in all, my partners and I aren't necessarily able to film throughout the weekdays. Even if we were to try we wouldn't be able to because we need the film to be during the day especially because we need good lighting. If we were to film after school it would be too dark by the time we meet up and start and we wouldn't be able to do much. We have already created a schedule, however, we have to continue to discuss if either of us have anything to do those days. We were also not expecting to start filming on such short notice. We understood that we needed to start soon, but we did not know that we had to already begin the filming and editing process, because we thought we still had to learn more about the project. All in all, we have planned really well and will continue to plan. All together as a group we have very tight schedules so we will most likely film our scenes on the weekends throughout the upcoming weeks. None of us live too close together either. All of us live about 20-30 minutes away which also factors into filming over the weekends.
